Why do Some People Hesitate to Pursue their Motorcycle Accident Case?

Some people hesitate in pursuing their automobile case for numerous reasons. One, there is a misconception that just because they have an accident, that they have to see the doctors all the time and they have to quit their job and that is definitely a misconception. There is no reason to quit your job. There is no reason to lose your job just because you have a car accident.

Second, a lot of people are under the misconception that if they have an accident that all they are really doing is getting their medical bills paid and they are not going to be able to walk with any money in their pocket. Certainly, when I meet with someone, I take a look at the case, how the accident happened, what the injuries are, and how much is potentially available. From there, a determination can be made as to whether or not the client can potentially walk with money in their pocket. If the answer is yes, then certainly if someone is hurt, the claim should be pursued.

If the answer is no, then we will talk about other options and what to do and how to best get your medical care so that, ultimately, you can feel better and put the nightmare of the accident behind you.

Another misconception is that if someone has an accident and they fail to wear their seatbelt, that they won’t get any money at all or that if they were partially at fault in the accident, that they won’t get any money. These are, for sure, serious misconceptions because even though you may be partially at fault in the accident or you fail to wear your seatbelt in the accident, that doesn’t mean that you’re going to wind up with nothing at all in your pocket.
