The statistics indicate the majority of fatal crashes occurred during the week, with 2,301 motorcycle riders killed Monday through Friday. Although there were more motorcycle operators killed during the week, there were more fatal crashes involving alcohol over the weekend.

The statistics indicate that it is almost as equally as dangerous to ride a motorcycle during the week and weekend. However, these statistics remind all motorcyclists how important it is to obey the speed limits and never drive drunk. Additionally, these statistics should remind all drivers to stop turning left or pulling out in front of motorcycles.
