Workers’ Comp. Cases: One Example

Although every workers’ comp.case is different, providing an example of a workers’ compensation claim that I’ve handled may be helpful in illustrating how a claim can greatly assist someone after injury.One case that comes to mind is one in which a roof fell on a man, causing him serious injury and bringing about a great need for customization with objects in daily life.After the tragic accident, for example, the worker’s home couldn’t accommodate him, so we got the insurance company to pay for a new home for him with widened doors and a ramp for his wheelchair.The insurance company also provided transportation that would accommodate his situation, specifically a van with a lift and hand controls. He was also given a computer system that was custom-designed for him to operate.Overall, he was awarded a great amount from the insurance company to make his lifestyle easier and the best it could be.Thankfully, he shouldn’t have to worry about money for the rest of his life.
