- Nursing home in West Virginia faced $91.5 million charge causing death of 87-year-old Alzheimer’s female patient. Nursing home staff had criminal backgrounds including voluntary manslaughter, identity theft, elderly abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation.
- Bronx, NY nursing home aide caught on hidden video abusing Alzheimer’s patient; striking her twice on her side, snapping the victim’s arm back, slamming her into bed’s metal railing, and intentionally pushing the bedding onto the patient’s body.
