The driver of a small convertible is thankful to be alive after a terrifying accident with a large tanker truck in Ft. Lauderdale, according to the CBS Channel 4 website. Forty-eight year old Constance Joyce found her black sports car stuck underneath the oil tanker truck slightly north of Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport on South Federal Highway, crushing the small vehicle and putting her life at risk. After an off-duty firefighter from the Miami-Dade department, Henry Grant, pulled her out of the Mazda Miada, she was transported to Broward General Medical Center for the treatment of minor injuries.
