Students from Seminole Ridge Community High School in Loxahatchee, FL, sustained serious injuries after being struck by a car in front of the school on April 28, according to the Sun Sentinel online. The teens, 16-year-old Chelsea Marina and 17-year-old Kelsie Parisi, were crossing the road in front of the Palm Beach County high school on foot around 3:00 p.m. Wednesday when a northbound 2000 Chevrolet Lumina hit them both on Seminole Pratt-Whitney. Following the collision, both girls were sent by helicopter to St. Mary’s Medical Center. As of Thursday, Parisi had been released, but Marina was still in the hospital.
