An SUV rollover accident seriously injured a 14-year-old boy in Oakland Park, FL, Saturday afternoon, June 27, according to CBS 4 News. According to relatives, the teen was visiting his father in Oakland Park for the weekend, but the Broward County car accident occurred in an SUV driven by his mother. One witness reported that young Christian Alarcon was standing on the running board and hanging on the side of the SUV when he slipped from the running board and fell beneath the back wheels. According to the witness, Alarcon was unconscious and had blood in his eye. He was then transported to Ft. Lauderdale’s Broward General Medical Center for treatment and reportedly had bruised lungs. According to CBS 4, the mother was cited, and the SUV was impounded.
