We recently posted a news item to our site about a Broward County deputy who sustained injuries in a North Lauderdale accidentA multi-vehicle crash in North Lauderdale resulted in injuries for a Broward County sheriff’s deputy and one other person Wednesday evening, according to the Sun-Sentinel. The deputy was on-duty and in her patrol car at the time of the auto accident, which occurred when she was rear-ended by another vehicle while waiting at a traffic light. The impact caused the police cruiser to crash into another vehicle, injuring the deputy and another person, who were both taken to Florida Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Since the officer was on-duty at the time of the crash, she may be able to file a workers’ compensation claim. If you would like more information about workers’ comp., auto accidents, or any other personal injury case, feel free to contact attorney David Benenfeld at any of the numbers below.
