We recently added a news item to our site about a Coral Springs crash that occurred during a traffic stop and involved an officer. Thankfully, the officer was not injured.
A Broward County traffic stop resulted in an auto accident involving an officer on the Florida Turnpike, according to the Sun-Sentinel. The accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. in Coral Springs when another vehicle struck the officer’s car. Traffic was backed up temporarily but, thankfully, the officer was not injured in the Broward County accident.
Although the officer was not injured in this auto accident, many officers have sustained injuries in Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach County wrecks recently. In some of the cases in which the policemen were on-duty at the time of these collisions, workers’ compensation claims may be filed.
