- 7 passengers killed. On May 31, 2013, a tractor trailer detachment slammed into a mini-van killing four young children and three adults in upstate NY.
- 1 Motorcyclist killed. On June 28, 2013, a motorcyclist was killed in a Florida trucking accident in Altamonte Springs.
All too often, trucking companies and drivers are in violation of federal and state regulations which govern safe driving practices. Sadly, most deaths and injuries could have been prevented if mandated precautions had been properly observed by members belonging to the trucking industry.
