Traffic homicide investigators late Monday were trying to determine who or what caused a ruinous three-car wreck that left three people dead and eight injured in Fort Lauderdale early New Year's Day. "We're trying to piece it together," Fort Lauderdale Police Detective Katherine Collins said of the crash at Broward Boulevard and the southbound Interstate 95 exit ramp.
