SUV Driver Chased Down By South Florida Motorcycle Accident Witness

On Sunday, May 15, 2011, a collision involving a motorcyclists and SUV occurred on Interstate 95 in South Florida. Florida Highway Patrol said that the SUV tried to leave the scene of the accident, which resulted in a car chase.
Around 8:30 a.m. early Sunday morning, 30-year-old Corey Rogers Seltenright, of Fort Lauderdale, was driving his black KIA Sorrento SUV northbound on I-95.
A witness said the SUV cut his car off near the Hallandale Beach Boulevard exit, just before the SUV hit the motorcyclist and sent the biker flying through the air.
Ytzhak Harty, of Aventura, is the 42-year-old motorcyclist hit in this South Florida motorcycle crash. Authorities said that he was not wearing his helmet when the accident occurred, and he was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital for medical care. He is reported to be in critical but stable condition.
Another witness to the accident chased the SUV driver as he attempted to flee the scene. This witness, an active duty Army serviceman, helped the other witness chase Seltenright about 5 miles. Both witnesses used their cars to box the SUV driver into a left-turn lane. One of the witnesses wrestled Seltenright to the ground until the Hollywood police arrived on scene.
Florida police arrested Cory Rogers Seltenright and charged him with driving under the influence with serious injury and property damage, leaving the scene of a crash with injuries, and careless driving.
