North Lauderdale Motorcycle Accident Causes Pile-Up

A motorcycle crash on I-95 the morning of Thursday May 1, 2008, left one biker dead and two others injured.  Other drivers report that a pack of about seven bikers were weaving in and out of traffic at 95-100 m.p.h. at 12:20 a.m. Thursday when one of the drivers slammed into the back of a 2007 Toyota.  The impact of the crash sent the Toyota spinning across I-95 and into a concrete barrier.

Two other bikers crashed just south of Commercial Boulevard.  One was in critical condition Friday.  According to the Florida Highway Patrol, all 3 bikers had been wearing motorcycle helmets.
