Miramar Police Cruiser Crashes on I-75 in Pembroke Pines Car Accident

Posted on Jun 30, 2010

A Pembroke Pines car accident on I-75 caused a Miramar police car to crash into a guardrail Tuesday, June 29, according to the Sun Sentinel.  The Broward County crash occurred when a vehicle cut off the police cruiser on the interstate, causing the officer to crash into a barricade.  Thankfully, no injuries were reported in this Pembroke Pines wreck.

In crashes similar to this, some Broward County officers have suffered injuries as a direct result of another driver.  When an officer is on-duty at the time of the crash, he or she may be able to recover financial compensation for medical expenses and time away from work.  Although most metro Ft. Lauderdale car accidents result in car accident claims for financial compensation, an on-duty officer may be able to recover compensation through a Florida workers' comp. claim.  If you have been injured in a Broward, Palm Beach, or Dade County car accident while at work or performing work-related tasks, feel free to contact attorney David Benenfeld for free resources and answers to questions about your potential workers' compensation claim.
