Heavy Rainfall Causes Numerous Broward County Car Accidents on I-95

Posted on Jun 30, 2010

Broward County saw numerous car accidents on I-95 Wednesday during heavy rainfall, some of which resulted in injuries, according to the Accidents.com news source.  In one Hollywood accident, a tractor trailer jackknifed and caused the closing of two lanes on I-95 South at Hallandale Beach Blvd.  Earlier, an I-95 crash occurred between a gasoline tanker and an SUV.  Another Broward County wreck involved a collision just north of Pembroke Rd. and sent three people to Hollywood's Memorial Regional Hospital with injuries.  The Florida Highway Patrol reported that at least four other Broward County accidents occurred in on both sides of Interstate 95, and it appeared as if two plumbing vans also crashed on I-95, just south of Hallandale Beach Blvd.
