Ft. Lauderdale Police Charge Man in Fatal Hit & Run

Fort Lauderdale police have charged an 18 year old man in the fatal hit and run of a 4 year old girl. The girl was crossing the street with her mother last Friday afternoon when she was hit by a silver Dodge Magnum pickup truck. The girl had just stepped off a bus in front of her home and was running a few steps ahead of her mother.
The arrest came after a tip that a silver Dodge Magnum with front-end damage was being fixed at a Fort Lauderdale, Florida, garage.
