Former LSU Safety Chad Jones Fractures Leg in Car Accident

Posted on Jun 25, 2010

Football star Chad Jones, former safety for LSU, suffered serious injuries in a recent car accident, according to the MRSEC news source.  In the car wreck, Jones suffered a fractured leg, and his nerves and arteries were exposed when paramedics first reached him.  According to the site, the crash occurred when Jones lost control of his vehicle and struck a telephone pole, injuring himself and two others.  It reportedly took about twenty minutes for emergency personnel to remove the football player from the SUV.  The New York Giants selected Jones in the third round of April's draft, and it is unknown whether his crash-related injuries will affect his ability to play football.

Although celebrity accidents catch more attention than others, they simply illustrate that no one is immune from serious car wrecks and injuries.  As a Dade, Palm Beach, and Broward County car accident lawyer, David Benenfeld hopes for the complete and speedy recovery of Chad Jones.  Accidents such as this occur frequently in the metro Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, and Palm Beach areas as well, and David Benenfeld will answer your questions for free regarding your Florida wreck if you would like free resources and advice.
