Posted on Oct 25, 2011

Florida Highway Patrol reported a 33-year-old man was killed in a crash on I-95 Tuesday night October 18th.  The motor cycle driver Eric Charles Alcazar of Pompano Beach was taken to Broward General Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Alcazar was thrown from his motorcycle and run over by another vehicle.  Five vehicles were involved in the crash in the southbound lanes of I-95, north of Sunrise Boulevard.

Tina Maria Galliner, 63, of Miami Lakes was rear-ended in her 2006 BMW by Alcazar’s 2003 Yamaha.  The impact from the motorcycle Alcazar was riding threw Alcazar from his motorcycle.

A southbound 2004 Toyota Sequoia, driven by Moubelyn A. Tugaoen, 39 of Miamar struck Alcazar, according to the Highway Patorl.

Nadege Toussaint, 37, of Miramar was traveling in another vehicle, a 2003 Honda Pilot, and was unable to stop and rear-ended the Sequoia.  Jessica Salazar, 27, of Coral Springs, was driving a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe, and struck Alcazar’s motorcycle.  Toussaint suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The Law Offices of David Benenfeld would like to extend their deepest sympathy for the family of Eric Alcazar and those injured in this tragic accident.
