Car Pinned Underneath Big Rig, Turnpike Reopens

FT. LAUDERDALE The Florida Turnpike is reopen near the Commercial Boulevard exit after a horrific accident that left two people trapped, including a baby, underneath a tractor trailer truck. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the female driver of a Toyota Camry heading southbound, lost control of the car, before she veered across several lanes of traffic, hit a retaining wall, careened back across the Turnpike and drove into and under the tractor trailer where the car became pinned underneath the big rig.
