A
Pembroke Pines resident was listed in serious condition at a Florida hospital following a
car accident on
I-95 that injured two others, according to the
TCPalm website. The
Florida Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred Sunday, July 12, around 9:14 p.m when a southbound Dodge Ram moved into the left lane of
I-95 and slammed into a Ford F150. Following the
car accident, which caused both vehicles to overturn, three people from the Ford required transportation to local hospitals for the treatment of accident-related injuries:
Pembroke Pines residents Blas Martinez, the 63-year-old driver, passenger Gerardo Martinez, 14, and Fernando Martinez, 68, who sustained serious injuries in the crash. The Dodge driver received an improper lane change charge.
