A
Palm Beach County car accident resulted in fatality when a driver who fled a hit-and-run accident earlier in the day crashed into another car at Southern Blvd. and Lamstein Ln., according to the
Sun-Sentinel. The
Palm Beach Sheriff's Office reported that 65-year-old John Serratory, of Lake Worth, was navigating a left turn around 5:30 p.m. when a 1995 Chevrolet crashed into the passenger side of Serratory's 1995 Mercury. Following the initial crash, the Chevrolet slammed head-on into a stopped van. The driver of the Chevrolet, 46-year-old Tracy Klinedinst, who had fled an accident scene on Belvedere Rd. earlier that day, attempted to flee the scene on foot but was caught only minutes later with drugs in his possession. Following the multi-vehicle
Palm Beach County auto accident, the driver of the van had minor injuries, and Serratory died after being transported by helicopter to St. Mary's Medical Center.
