Motorcyclist in Critical Condition at Broward General Medical Center After Ft. Lauderdale Accident

A Fort Lauderdale motorcycle driver was in critical condition at Broward General Medical Center as of Friday evening, February 6, after sustaining serious injuries in a January 26th truck-motorcycle accident, according to the Sun-Sentinel online. According to officials, the driver of the pickup truck that struck 67-year-old Ft. Lauderdale resident Guenter Schmidt fled the scene of the accident, which occurred on Southwest 15th Avenue around 5:10 p.m. Police have requested that anyone with information call them to help locate the hit-and-run driver, who has been described as an older man with a ponytail, mustache, and white hair. The man was driving a gray 1970s or 1980s pickup truck at the time of the accident.

Our law firm handles hit-and-run auto accident cases and motorcycle cases that resulted in injury, and we hope for the quick and full recovery of Mr. Schmidt. If you or a loved one has been injured in a motorcycle crash, car accident, or other type of vehicle collision, feel free to call our office in Broward County (954-677-0155), Dade County (305-623-5959), or the Palm Beaches area (561-353-2522). We only represent the injured and offer a free consultation.
