Lauderdale injured a man from Oregon, but his injuries could have been much worse, according to the CBS 4 news website.  The 25-year-old was reportedly traveling north on the interstate around 4:00 a.m. when he took an exit ramp and crossed both lanes by continuing straight.  The ramp requires a right or left turn, so his failure to turn led his vehicle to collide with a concrete barrier.  Following the Broward County accident on I-95, the driver was taken to Broward General Medical Center for the treatment of minor injuries.

Driver Involved in Two Ft. Lauderdale Car Accidents in One Day

Police are investigating a Fort Lauderdale car accident that involved a driver who had already fled the scene of another accident, according to the Sun Sentinel.  Witnesses reported that the car accident occurred along the beach during a police chase Friday morning, January 8, with the chased car crashing into another vehicle.  At least one person was treated by paramedics after the Ft. Lauderdale accident, and the driver was taken into custody.

Wellington Motorcycle Accident Sends Man to Delray Medical Center in Critical Condition

A Palm Beach County accident sent one man to the hospital with life-threatening injuries when a Nissan Sentra and motorcycle collided in Wellington, according to the Palm Beach Post.  Following the car-motorcycle accident, the motorcyclist required transportation via helicopter to Delray Medical Center, where he was in critical condition at the time of the report.

I-95 Rollover Accident Causes Injuries & Stalls Traffic in Delray Beach

A morning rollover accident on I-95 in Delray Beach caused injuries and stalled traffic December 4 due to closed lanes, according to the Palm Beach Post.  The Palm Beach County auto accident reportedly occurred on Interstate 95 south of Linton Blvd. and resulted in injuries, but no other details were available at the time of the report.

11-Year-Old Boy Struck by Vehicle While Fishing, Taken to Hospital in West Palm Beach

An 11-year-old boy required transportation to the hospital after an unusual vehicle-pedestrian collision in Palm Beach County, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.  The boy was crossing the Southern Blvd. bridge when he was struck by the vehicle.  He had reportedly been fishing with his father on the north side of the draw span and was crossing the bridge to the south side when the auto accident occurred.  Although he was taken to the pediatric emergency room at West Palm Beach's St. Mary's Medical Center, police said his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

Several Suffer Minor Injuries After Multi-Vehicle Auto Accident Near Royal Palm Beach

A multi-vehicle car accident near Royal Palm Beach left several people with minor injuries and snarled traffic for many morning commuters in Palm Beach County, according to the Palm Beach Post.  The auto accident occurred at the intersection of Okeechobee Blvd. and State Rd. 7 and involved a minimum of four vehicles, one of which was a Palm Tran Connection bus.  According to the report, the area was under a dense fog advisory at the time of the multi-vehicle collision.
