Early Morning Accident Leads to Death of Miami-Dade Officer | Broward & Dade County Wrongful Death Attorney

An early morning car accident in Miami-Dade County, FL, turned deadly Tuesday, June 16, when the cruiser of a Miami-Dade police officer and a dump truck collided, according to the CBS 12 website.  Officer Giovanni Gonzalez, 23, was killed in the Flordia auto accident, which reportedly occurred in the southbound lanes of the Florida turnpike near SW 152 Street around 4:00 a.m.  According to the site, the officer rear-ended the dump truck, but it is not yet known who is at fault.
