Pembroke Park car accident resulted in fatality for a man from
Miami on Monday, June 22, according to the
Miami Herald. According to officials, the accident occurred at Pembroke Rd. and the
I-95 entrance ramp when 62-year-old Hoover Hodgson turned left at a red light to enter the southbound ramp to
I-95 and slammed into the patrol car of a
Broward Sheriff's Office deputy soon after 12:30 p.m. After sustaining serious internal injuries in the crash, Hodgson was pronounced dead before 9:00 p.m. Monday evening. Sgt. Raymond Cornine was treated at a local hospital for injuries, but was released.
