Cleveland Browns Player Sorrowful After Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Miami | Miami Wrongful Death Lawyer

Date:  Saturday, March 14, 2009
Place:  Miami, FL, Near Miami Beach
Type:  Vehicle-Pedestrian Accident

Donte Stallworth, receiver for the Cleveland Browns, was involved in a Miami pedestrian accident that killed 59-year-old Mario Reyes and left the football star "grief stricken," according to the Associated Press.  According to police, Stallworth was driving toward the beach on Saturday when his Bentley struck Reyes, who was on foot, on a causeway that links Miami to Miami Beach.  The AP reports that while Reyes was near a crosswalk, it has not been determined whether he was crossing legally before the fatal accident.  At the time of the report, no charges had been filed, and Stallworth was cooperating with police and stated that his "thoughts and prayers are with" pedestrian Mario Reyes' family.

We express our sympathies and condolences to the family and friends of Reyes, as well.  As a personal injury and wrongful death lawyer, David Benenfeld has worked with families as their mourn the wrongful death of a loved one after fatal accidents in Miami and surrounding areas.  If you have lost a loved one in any kind of vehicle accident or have been injured in a pedestrian collision, call Injury Law Service for a free consultation with David Benenfeld.  He will answer your questions for free with compassion and professionalism.
