Chain Reaction Accident Shuts Down Parts of I-95 in Jupiter, Sends One to Hospital | Palm Beach County Car Accident Lawyer

A recent chain reaction car accident in Jupiter, FL, temporarily shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in the early morning hours, according to WPTV.  The accident, which involved a truck hauling canned goods and two cars, began when a southbound vehicle struck a stranded car along the left shoulder of the interstate.  Following the initial collision, the vehicle that hit the stranded car pulled into the right lane to let the occupants out, and a semi-truck slammed into that vehicle.  According to reports, one person was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center after the car accident, which was handled by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.  Investigators suspected that one of the drivers may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
