The DUI driver who caused a tragic car accident in West Palm Beach this past January made his first appearance at the Palm Beach County Circuit Court this morning, according to WPTV. The accident, which occurred on East Park Drive in West Palm Beach when Michael Davidson's vehicle crashed into two palm trees, led to the wrongful death of the driver's brother, Brian Davidson. Police reported that Michael had a blood-alcohol content level of .07% and also had Xanax and Versed in his system at the time of the crash. He was also traveling at a speed of 71 mph in a 25 mph zone. In light of the fatal auto accident, Michael Davidson has been charged with vehicular homicide, and his bond is currently set at $10,000.
