Lake Worth, FL, Saturday, September 26, according to the
CBS 12 news website. The
Palm Beach County car accident occurred when Wilmer Perez was hit by a Nissan while crossing Military Trail & 10th Ave. N., say sheriff's deputies. Investigations were still in progress at the time of the report.

A drunk driver responsible for a
fatal accident that occurred last year in
Lake Worth pled guilty Tuesday, January 12, to DUI manslaughter, according to the
Palm Beach Post. The 24-year-old reportedly ran a ran light when driving under the influence and crashed into another vehicle, causing the
fatal collision. After the
Palm Beach County accident, the driver's blood-alcohol content was at the minimum to be considered DUI. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
