A teenager was listed in critical but stable condition at
Delray Medical Center after being struck by a vehicle when crossing an intersection on foot, according to
WPTV. The 14-year-old was reportedly crossing the intersection of Kudza Rd. and Forest Hill Blvd. in
West Palm Beach when the SUV crashed into him, and neighbors reported that this incident is not the first vehicle-pedestrian collision at the intersection. The
Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office was still investigating the accident at the time of the report.
A 16-year-old girl sustained serious injuries in an
Oakland Park auto-pedestrian accident when she was struck by a school bus Tuesday, September 29, according to the
Miami Herald. The
Broward County accident occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m. at Northwest 21st Ave. and 29th St., and the teenager was unconscious and had serious lower body injuries when responders arrived on the scene. After she was hit by the
Broward County school bus, she received transportation to a hospital in
Ft. Lauderdale.
