11-Year-Old Girl Suffers Hand Injury When Struck by Car in Davie | Broward County Car Accident Lawyer

One woman suffered serious injuries and seven children sustained minor injuries in a Broward County auto accident, according to the Miami Herald online.  The accident occurred Monday, September 28, when a school van, car, and minivan collided on Stirling Rd. in Davie, FL.  According to authorities, the children were in a Nob Hill Academy van.  The woman was reportedly in critical condition when she received transportation to a local hospital, and others were injured as well:  a total of thirteen received medical treatment at the scene of the crash, and 10 were transported to hospitals.

DUI Motorcyclist Kills Davie Resident in Fatal Miramar Auto Accident | Broward County Accident Attorney

A man from Miramar has been charged with two counts of DUI manslaughter, one count of child neglect, and two counts of DUI property damage for allegedly killing a motorcyclist on September 8, according to the Sun Sentinel.  Thirty-one-year-old Robert Jones was reportedly driving his fiancee's 9-year-old daughter to school on his motorcycle when he struck 43-year-old Davie resident Eric Maron.  Tragically, Maron was killed in the motorcycle-vehicle accident.  Following the collision, Jones walked several blocks away.  The Sun Sentinel reports that Jones plans to plead not-guilty to all charges against him in the Broward County accident.
