Family & Friends Mourn Tragic Loss of 17-Year-Old After Fatal Car Accident in Broward County

A tragic Broward County auto accident has left family and friends of the 17-year-old crash victim in indescribable pain as they mourn his sudden death, according to the CBS 4 news website.  The accident, which resulted in fatality for teen Marquis Lumsdon, is still under investigation by the Broward Sheriff's Office.  What is known is that Lumsdon lost control of the vehicle Saturday morning on Powerline Rd. and slammed into an SUV after crossing the median.  According to family friends, the Pompano Beach teenager was planning on joining the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school, and he was known for his friendliness toward others and genuine care for the elderly.

A Palm Beach County accident that involved 10 vehicles, injured at least 16 people, and killed one on the scene has resulted in a second fatality, according to the Palm Beach Post.  The article reports that Maria Aguilar, 86, died July 17 from injuries sustained in the multi-vehicle Delray Beach accident.  The first fatality occurred at the scene of the Palm Beach County accident, killing Edith Farrar, 83.
