A 16-year-old girl sustained serious injuries in an Oakland Park auto-pedestrian accident when she was struck by a school bus Tuesday, September 29, according to the Miami Herald. The Broward County accident occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m. at Northwest 21st Ave. and 29th St., and the teenager was unconscious and had serious lower body injuries when responders arrived on the scene. After she was hit by the Broward County school bus, she received transportation to a hospital in Ft. Lauderdale.
